PROJECT OVERVIEW: We were tasked to use the principles of design as well as accumulated knowledge of digitial art techniques in order to create our own personal logos.
PROJECT OVERVIEW: Continuing to practice using the pen tool, gradient tools, and other important graphic art techniques, we were required to produce at least 3 different vector landscapes – scenes of nature that are simplified into vectorized shapes.
PROJECT OVERVIEW: Using the rotate and reflect tools, we were tasked with designing mandalas centered around the various combinations of colors within color theory: primary, secondary, tertiary, 2 complimentary, split complimentary, analogous, tint/tone/shade (monochromatic), and neutral/black/white color schemes as well as one final design with our own custom color palate.
PROJECT OVERVIEW: As an exercise in learning to use shape and pen tools (especially in a vector format) we were required to make a sheet of 20 different graphic icons, limited to a color palate of on grayscale shade, one color, and white.
PROJECT OVERVIEW: Using our knowledge of Photoshop tools and compositing techniques, were tasked with creating at least two different fantasy/surrealist images using our own personally photographed assets.
